By adopting Reactec’s wearable technology and cloud-based data analytics, employers can manage exposure to vibration and dangerous proximity to operating hazards in real-time.

In July 2022 Reactec launched its third-generation R-Link smartwatch, which provides proximity warnings when the wearer enters the exclusion zone of a hazard.

Gary’s career has ranged from implementing gas detection systems to noise-induced hearing loss prevention technology within a variety of industrial settings.

He previously worked with Norway-based hearing protection specialists Minuendo as their key account manager.

Prior to this, Gary held various roles at ION Science Limited including business unit manager, export sales manager and global business manager, over a nine-year period.

Jacqui McLaughlin, Chief Executive of Reactec, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Gary to the team.

“Gary brings a wealth of commercial experience in workplace risk prevention technologies.

“This will be invaluable to Reactec as we continue to promote our connected wearable technology and data analytics to manage exposure to vibration, noise, dust and dangerous proximity to moving vehicles.”

On 18 and 19 October, Gary and the Reactec team will be attending the Highways UK conference at the NEC in Birmingham.
